It just came out on DVD (such is my level of film geekiness I have been desperately waiting for years) for under a fiver.
The nex will certainly be an improvement but considering it's a 1990 TV movie the old one isn't too bad and does a pretty good job. It's like the old hulk tv movies in a lot of respects.

yeh, saw it on play.com . I may wait for it to inevitably crash down to £2 or £3. Worth a giggle.

It is indeed - it's one of the most enjoyable bad films I've ever seen (even the poor quality of the DVD which looks like a VHS copy doesn't harm it).

Yes it is - and even before you assess dialogue and overly convenient plot devices.
