...or Minotaur if you prefer.
Have I ever mentioned how much I hate anagrams?

I've had this picture sitting in my 'to finish' pile for a while and I though it was about time I moved it out.

Thanks very much!
I wish I could take credit for delibrately redesigning the Minotaur but I never really set out to draw one. About half way through it just became obvious what it had to be.

Very nice.. but I think I would've prefered bigger, more impressive horns

...I'm glad you used the plural 'horns' there. Anything else would just be uncomortable innuendo...

Bigger is not neccessarily better, the poor guy does have to be able to lift his head after all.

Interesting that no one has mentioned the complete impracticality of side facing horns yes?

He can barely turn his head.
:iconnorab1984:
Surely, the horns, being a universal symbol of a male animal's strength and masculinity, should be rather impressive?

Unless of course your 'tauromin' is in fact female and thus would not necessarily need any horns.
This would, of course, explain why the horns on your 'tauromin' seem to be more decorative rather than practical in nature.

Actually most female mammals and avians don't have any decorative adornments, that falls to the male in most species.
So the fact that he (note HE) has horns at all suggests masculinity.
What is impressive is largely relative, this could indeed be as large as this particular species gets and very impressive to potential mates. Equally this could be a young individual who is not at adult age or it could be outside the mating season where the old giant horns are gone and new ones are growing.

Really nice dynamics on this one!
